Manchester City have revealed how they pranked the footballing world with a video of the Premier League trophy smashing that went viral.City paraded the trophy across Manchester earlier this week after they became the first English team to complete the domestic treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

The party atmosphere at the club looked to have taken an awkward turn when a video surfaced online of the Premier League trophy being smashed to bits at their training ground.City striker Sergio Aguero can be seen shuffling away as the ‘trophy’ lies on the floor after appearing to fall down two stories.Below you can see the video that caused the social media storm.
