Chelsea could be denied in their bid to sign Kostas Manolas as Roma prime a new contract for their defensive ace.The Blues, along with Juventus and Bayern Munich, are interested in the centre-back who is considered one of the best in Italian football.2

So now, according to the Corriere dello Sport, Roma’s sporting director Monchi is in the process of drawing up fresh terms for Manolas which would crucially erase that clause.
